Paper’s geometry

21.09.2018 - 10.03.2019
Hermann Coppus

Experience paper’s encounter with geometric shapes and colours: Hermann Coppus at the Museum for Papirkunst. Hermann Coppus (1955) graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, Maastricht in the Netherlands. His visual work is inspired by modern art movements such as constructivism and geometric abstraction.

He has developed his own visual language, characterised by a clear focus on colours, rhythm, and lightning effects. Another characteristic is his perfectionist approach to the execution of his artworks. The exhibition is supported by the Danish Ministry of Culture.
